Featuring a kihikihi / cicada resting amongst the curling koru of a native punga fern, this piece is inspired by the quiet magic of the New Zealand bush. The delicate unfurling fern frond symbolises new life and growth, while the cicada brings memories of warm summers and the unmistakable soundtrack of Aotearoa.
